The assignment… CREATE a :30 video based on A DAY in the LIFE of: An Object.
This is a shooting and editing project. The idea is to work fairly quickly, but with CREATIVE intent and purpose.
This is a shooting and editing project. The idea is to work fairly quickly, but with CREATIVE intent and purpose.
- Pick an object, ANYTHING but no people or groups of people. (Ex: A Day in the Life of a Backpack)
- Come up with a scenario, one that has a story to it. How will you tell the daily journey of this object? You must have a beginning, middle, and end.
- The STORY must have some sort of conflict or struggle. What will this object struggle with? (Ex: Backpack struggles with being tossed and kicked on the floor) How you “resolve” this issue IS the story.
- TAKE your time to come up with a believable, good story – that makes sense.
- You may not show any faces. This is about an object, not a person interacting with the object.
- Storyboard and shot list due before you begin shooting!
